Leao is pleased with the appointment of new coach Max Allegri and also the arrival of Real Madrid legend Luka Modric.
He told Sky Italia: "I'm very happy with Allegri, someone who has already won at AC Milan. He brings a lot of experience and knows how to manage the locker room.
"The young players are also liking him because he talks to everyone and intervenes a lot during training. He can bring a lot to the team and to me personally; he can help me have a great season.
"Playing in this jersey is a dream. I've won important trophies, and we want to do that every season. AC Milan deserves to be in the Champions League. We need to have a great season and start the season well."
