The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is still making headlines at 40 years old as he leads not only Al-Nassr but Portugal in the twilight of his incredible career.
One player who adored the former Real Madrid star was Talisca who worked alongside Ronaldo and former Liverpool winger Sadio Mane as they won the Arab Club Championship in 2023.
Talisa then headed to Fenerbahce after working alongside Ronaldo, which he says was a dream come true.
"It was an incredible two years. When he arrived, I had already been there for two years. I spent four years at the club, an incredible story. Playing with him was surreal, it was a dream for me. For me, he is the best in history.
"We trained together and did incredible things. Working with him, for me, as an athlete and as a human being, was about maximising the athlete's potential, being more professional, caring more about himself. It was incredible."
Despite being shown a red card during Portugal’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying defeat to the Republic of Ireland in Dublin last Thursday for elbowing Irish defender Dara O’Shea. Ronaldo is looking forward to the World Cup next year as he continues to hunt down success, something that Talisca like many greatly admire.
The winger has 8 goals and 2 assists in 22 appearances at the World Cup and he will aim to lead his country for the first time.
