Duran is now moving to Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg on-loan, says Foot Mercato.
Joining Al-Nassr just a year ago, Duran scored 12 goals in 18 games for the Saudis before being tempted to Fener by a bigger contract offer.
However, he has struggled in Turkey and is now moving to Russia in an effort to recapture the form shown at Aston Villa.
