Arsenal head into the new campaign with confidence after ending their 22-year wait for the Premier League title in what was an incredible year for the club who also reached the Champions League and EFL Cup final.
The Gunners have been reshaped under Arteta who has found immense success in North London despite a number of struggles at the start of his tenure.
With Pep Guardiola leaving Manchester City, Arteta is now the current longest-serving manager in the Premier League.
Speaking with SveaCasino, Zenden has backed Arteta to replicate Guardiola’s success and doesn't believe he will leave anytime soon.
“But obviously, with what Arteta has achieved over the last few years, he has definitely brought a smile back to the Gunners. If he can stay at the club for 10 years, it would be similar to what Pep did at City or what Wenger did before.
“It's not very common these days to stay at one club for many years. If you lose a few games as a manager, your days are numbered. It's not easy, but he's doing a great job. It would be nice for him to stay rather than leaving after a few bad results or choosing to move on elsewhere. You know what you have, but you never know what you’re going to get.
“I think there's quite a lot of talk about Arteta, which is normal, but I think he's really in the right position at Arsenal yesterday, today, and probably tomorrow. I don't see him moving to Barcelona or anybody because Arsenal stood by his side when he took over and it was difficult, I don't think he'll leave easily.”
Arteta is set to take charge of Arsenal once again when the season begins, with their opening clash coming against Coventry City.
