Haaland, 25, scored a sensational brace as Norway knocked five-time champions Brazil out of the 2026 World Cup on Sunday (July 5).
The striker is under contract at Man City until the summer of 2034, but that’s hasn’t stopped his dad from opening the door to a potential move to Real Madrid.
Speaking to DAZN, Haaland senior said: "A move to Real Madrid? He’s very happy at Manchester City and has a long contract.
"We’re waiting for the new season, but anyone would want to play for Madrid. You never know what can happen in football.”
Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme sensationally suggested that he had agreed a deal to bring Haaland to the club before he ultimately lost to Florentino Perez.
Both Man City and Haaland denied there was ever any agreement in place.
