The Arsenal winger has been managing a persistent Achilles problem, meaning his minutes and impact have been limited under Tuchel at the World Cup so far.

However, he has still featured in all three of England's group-stage matches, coming off the bench against Croatia and Ghana before starting against Panama.

Speaking on Stick to Football, Neville and Wright revealed that there is concern for the Arsenal star as he continues to fail to impress this summer.

"Bukayo Saka doesn't look right at all,” Neville said.

“He's usually the boy that's bubbling and smiling, he's got that competitive edge to him, but he's not right and that's a concern to us, I think."

Ian Wright also ripped into the winger who could be dropped for Wednesday’s clash against DR Congo as England enter the Round of 32.

"We're going into a World Cup, and still not starting the first few games, only starting when we're three games in, and still isn't looking like the Saka that we know – this guy needs a break.”

Ahead of the World Cup, Saka admitted that he was “happy to take the gamble” with his fitness ahead of the tournament which may have backfired. Despite this, he is likely to start against DR Congo, as Tuchel hopes for a better showing on Wednesday night.
