Wolfsburg to try again for Brentford defender Ajer

Sky Deutschland says Wolfsburg are ready to test Brentford's resolve in January with an offer for Ajer.

Ajer has a deal to 2028 and Brentford are under no pressure to sell.

Wolfsburg made a €15m attempt last summer, which was immediately rejected.

Indeed, Ajer is regarded by Brentford manager Keith Andrews as a key player and offers won't be encouraged over the New Year.
