Tottenham Hotspur's 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest sums up Frank’s season so far in charge of the North London side, who has a single shot on target at the City Ground thanks to a first half effort from Archie Gray.
The result leaves Spurs 11th in the Premier League table, far off the European spots, which has left many fans calling for Frank to be sacked and replaced as soon as possible.
Keane to replace Frank?
Defeat leaves Frank's team in the bottom half with just 22 points from 11 games, and rumours are already spreading about who could take over from the Dane.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Vega has suggested that former Spurs striker Keane takeover as he continues to impress at Hungarian side Ferencváros.
“I already said I'm not sure about this guy," Vega said on Breakfast. "The first thing to do for him is to resign. What kind of time do you have in the Premier League? We are talking about Tottenham Hotspur here.
“This is a big club in England. You need instant kind of success. You don't have time. Three years, four years.
“So it's a question also, what kind of time he's been giving? What have they done in the 20 years with the recruitment point of view?
"Now, the question is, who's going to potentially be good for this?" Vega continued as he weighed up who would be an ideal successor. "I have a suggestion. Robbie Keane. He's done very well and has just beat Rangers.”
Since beating Everton 3-0 on October 26th, Frank’s side have only won one of their last seven matches in the Premier League. It is clear change is needed and as fans grow more impatient, Frank may be let go in the coming weeks.
