Tottenham sit 16th in the Premier League and five points clear of the relegation zone after winning seven games this season.
After the sacking of Thomas Frank, Tudor steps in for what is a very tough start against league leaders Arsenal who will not hold back against Spurs after dropping points in midweek.
Tudor is here to work
Tudor was first asked if he had enjoyed his first week in charge of the club and gave a telling answer as the club try to avoid relegation.
“I didn't enjoy because I'm not here to enjoy. I'm here to work. It's the first moment and there's work to do. It's a privilege to be here.”
Will Spurs be in the Premier League next season: “100%”
How can Tudor steady the ship?
The former Lazio, Marseille and Juventus head coach was next questioned on how he always makes an immediate impact at clubs. Tudor has won his first game in charge of each of his last five clubs and has the tough task of turning the club around with just 12 games remaining.
"I don't know. I do my job. Nothing special. I do the things I believe is important. Nothing more, nothing less. Each coach has his own style to achieve the results. I have my style which I believe is the best. It’s never the same because there are always different characteristics, different clubs and different culture.
"Not even of the league but the club. Some clubs like this kind of football, some like this. You need to resolve the problems. Everywhere the problems, if you go to the best clubs in the world you believe there are not problems there, but there are problems there like in the third division. It’s all about how you resolve the problems in a very quick time. Not easy, but it’s okay."
As Tudor prepares for a baptism of fire, the club are dealing with an injury crisis, with over 10 players in the medical room. Things won't get any easier on Sunday, as the Croatian revealed that nobody will return to the fold.
Probably no (nobody will return), Dominic Solanke has some problem with his throat, but he made two days training. All the others, some are next week.
