Trossard struck in the 4-1 win, with Ebere Eze hitting a hat-trick.
"I enjoyed that a lot!” he smiled afterwards.
“I think it was important to get that goal. After that it gave us the edge to go on and score more goals, to create chances. I think we were dominant before, but obviously that gives you that extra bit of confidence to go and win the game. It was a perfect night for us.
“It was a really good game overall in every aspect, from defence to attack. We're really happy with all the goals we scored as well.”
Trossard also sung the praises of Arsenal's home support, which before kickoff presented the players with a huge tifo.
“We need that. Today, especially, I know the history with the north London derby, but every game it's so important that they can push us forward in difficult moments. It helps us as players and it was just great,” added the Belgian.
“It was just joy!” he said about the post-match feeling. “Everyone was cheering, there's not much to say about it. That's what we really wanted and it's nice that we could give this back to the fans. The atmosphere was amazing, it was so good, they pushed us forward as well. So yeah, it's a really good night today.”
