The Crystal Palace playmaker was introduced to Arsenal fans at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday following his £68M move as manager Mikel Arteta steered him away from a move to North London rivals Tottenham who are still trying to replace Son Heung-min.
Earlier this year, Eze named Henry as one of his biggest inspirations which will come as no surprise for such an avid Arsenal supporter.
"Henry was number one. Henry and Ronaldinho. Those were the two on YouTube you were watching," Eze told Sign Up - Into Football.
"These are the guys you grow up watching. They enjoy what they're doing, they love what they're doing, they have a passion for it and that inspires.
"I feel like those have been the guys that I've looked up to for as long as I remember.”
It was only ever Arsenal for Eze who has now been sent a special message by one of his biggest heroes in Henry who hopes he makes the most of this opportunity as the club aim for the league title.
“First and foremost, welcome to the Arsenal,’ Henry told Arsenal’s official website. “You don’t understand how happy we all are.
“We all know how much you wanted to play for The Arsenal, and wear the cannon at the Emirates.
“There you go – it’s not a dream anymore, it’s not a utopia. That has become reality. Make sure that you make it count.
“Remember, when I first arrived at the Arsenal, they told me that it is a club that has class, it’s a family club, and you got to fight no matter what.
“All the very best, I’m so happy. Come on The Arsenal!”
Eze could make his Arsenal debut next weekend when the Gunners face Premier League champions Liverpool at Anfield. Eze was lost for words at the message from an Arsenal great.
"He’s got a statue outside, bro.”
"You know what? When you use words, you can ruin something.
"I'm telling you, this for me, it's the feeling. I can try and explain it, but it's the feeling, man. This is powerful."
