After a two-week break from Premier League football, City travel to Merseyside to face the Toffees as they continue their hunt for the Premier League title.
Pep Guardiola’s side enter the clash six points adrift of Arsenal in the table, meaning there is no margin for error for City as they have to remain perfect if they are to catch up to the Gunners.
City have dominated this fixture for a lengthy period, winning 15 of the last 20 meetings in all competitions which will give them confidence heading into the clash.
Guardiola is also unbeaten in each of his last 11 Premier League matches, and they have picked up 14 points from their last away games in the league.
Despite their fine form, City are without Josko Gvardiol (Calf/Shin/Heel Injury), Ruben Dias (Thigh Injury) and Rodri (Groin/Hip/Pelvic Injury) for the clash as Guardiola rotates his side for what is a very busy schedule coming up.
Everton have a slightly better injury list with just Jarrad Branthwaite (Thigh Injury) and Jack Grealish (Ankle/Foot Injury) ruled out of the clash which gives manager David Moyes less of a headache.
Unfortunately for Moyes, Guardiola has not lost any of his previous 15 Premier League head-to-heads with the Scotsman, overseeing 12 wins and three draws in that time as all signs point towards a City win.
