Arsenal face West Ham this afternoon and only 3 players will miss what should be an intense clash.

Manchester City stumbled at Everton on Monday night but grabbed 3 points against Brentford, narrowing the gap between them and Arsenal to just 2 points.

3 points are crucial to Arsenal but also the Hammers who are in the midst of a relegation scrap as they occupy a relegation place with only three games to go, trailing Tottenham by a point.

Arsenal hold a commanding record in this fixture, winning 13 of the last 20 meetings with West Ham across all competitions, with just four West Ham victories and three draws.

However, a run of one win from five away matches does not exactly put confidence in an Arsenal side who have been in mixed form over the past few months.

The good news for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta however is that he only has Jurrien Timber (Groin/Hip/Pelvic Injury) and Mikel Merino (Ankle/Foot Injury) for the clash in what is a relief after a season filled with injuries for crucial players.

Similarly, West Ham are without Lukasz Fabianski (Lower Back Injury) as Mads Hermansen prepares to go between the sticks once more for the club who will be pleased to enter the game with relatively no knocks.

Arsenal are unbeaten in five of the last six Premier League meetings, with West Ham's only victory coming at the Emirates in February 2025. A win is imperative for both sides as teams from both ends of the table monitor this clash.
