Norway striker Strand Larsen said: "It’s a mix of us trying to be ourselves in the way we’ve improved our playing in the last few games. Even though we lost against Sunderland last game, I think the second half, especially, we were the dominating side, and that’s what we want to be, especially on the ball.

“We’ve still got a lot to improve, but I feel like we’re in a good way. The atmosphere in training is good because we know it’s a long run, there are still many games to be played, and we have a really big game on Sunday.

“We’re very competitive, and we’re always trying to get better, so I feel like the group is still very intact and ready for the weekend.”

He also said: “We really don’t think about when the last win was, but obviously we know that our form hasn’t been where we wanted to be. We’re preparing for this game the same as every other game.

“We know it’s early in the season, but it’s a massive game for us because it can close the gap a little bit and give us some confidence. At home, we’ll definitely be trying to create a really good atmosphere with the fans, trying to bring the most positivity out of them by giving them good football and run until we can’t anymore.

“That’s the plan because we’ve been losing too much at home this season and last season, so we need to try turn that around and make it a really tough place to come.”
