Jacey Carrick featured for the club last December in their 2-0 win over Newcastle United as he made his debut for the U18s side.
Kai Rooney meanwhile made six appearances for the U18s last season despite being just 16 years old, proving his quality beyond his years.
However, a season-ending injury struck in March, ruling him out of United's FA Youth Cup final against Manchester City in which the Red Devils lost 2-1 in the end.
As per Manchester Evening News, the pair have joined the likes of Gazik Ibragimov, Edson Dejonge-Seiros, Harlem McLaughlin, Pharell Silvester, Connor Laurie and Jaume Camacho who signed scholarship deals this week.
Father’s Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick were in attendance at the even as they posed with pictures with their sons in what was a proud moment.
Kai Rooney was asked about his ambitions in a candid interview earlier this season in which he stated:
"Playing on the biggest stage amongst the best players, winning trophies."
Rooney is set to become a key member under U18 manager Darren Fletcher next season, a season where he will no doubt turn heads once again in what is a very bright future for the side.
