The Daily Mail says Newcastle chiefs see Solanke as an answer to their centre-forward issues after a difficult first season in England for Nick Woltemade.

Solanke, 28, played for Toon manager Eddie Howe at Bournemouth and their relationship is rock solid.
Much will depend on where Tottenham finish at the end of the season, but Newcastle intend to test both the club's and player's resolve with a summer offer.
Due to injury, Solanke has made just 14 appearances this season but still managed five goals, all since January.
