Newcastle have Archie Gray bid rejected as Tottenham continue Sandro Tonali talks

Tottenham are already set to lose one young star, with Luka Vuskovic set to join Brighton, and are now under pressure for Gray, 20.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle have had an offer rejected by the North London club for the young midfielder.

Romano adds that Tottenham remain firm on their position, but Newcastle remain keen on Gray and will continue to pursue a potential deal.

All the while, Tottenham are in talks with Newcastle over a deal for Tonali, 26, with Eddie Howe’s side holding out for a fee of £100 million, which Spurs are yet to match.
