According to Telegraph Sport, Newcastle’s Saudi-based owners, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), are reportedly willing to allow the Sweden international to leave if the Reds a (€150m/$175m) bid.
Earlier reports suggested that the defending Premier League champions plan to make an offer of that size, which would surpass the British transfer record set when Liverpool signed Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for £116 million.
Isak’s relationship with Newcastle and their fans is reportedly at an all-time low. Since joining the club in 2022, the Sweden international has established himself as one of the world’s top strikers, scoring 54 goals in just 86 Premier League appearances.
