Gary Neville has revealed that he believes Manchester United should aim to sign Germany's Felix Nmecha.

Nmecha provide an assist for Deniz Undav against the Ivory Coast on Saturday night, proving his worth in the Germany side as he broke defensive lines and commanded the midfield throughout the contest.

The Borussia Dortmund star has attracted attention from the likes of Liverpool this summer as he continues to impress at the highest level at 25 years old.

The Red Devils will need a strong transfer window in order to challenge Arsenal for the Premier League title next season and signings such as Nmecha could push them to the next level under manager Michael Carrick.

Speaking after the Germany game, Neville pleaded with United to make a move for the former Wolfsburg playmaker before his price goes up even more.

“The more he plays like he did the other night the more expensive he’ll get,’ Neville told ITV

“But at the moment, we hear Manchester United are being quoted £100 million for the West Ham boy Fernandes, so they’re going to have to be looking around this tournament and parts of Europe.

“He looked outstanding the other night, it looked like he had absolutely everything.”

A recent BILD report claimed that it would take an offer of at least €120M to snag Nmecha, as United weigh up their options.
