Tudor is still searching for his first win in charge, losing all four of his opening games which has left the side just 1 point away from the relegation zone.
Tottenham have lost 6 games in a row for the first time in their history and next face Liverpool on Sunday where Tudor could be sacked if his side loses once again.
Pochettino would return even if Tottenham are relegated
Pochettino, currently the head coach of the USA national team, is reportedly wanted by the Spurs board according to GIVEMESPORT. They state he is open to making a move back too, even if the club are playing in the Championship next season.
The Argentinian was in attendance to watch the game at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano as Tottenham were crushed 5-2 by Atletico Madrid.
This comes after he admitted he would be open to returning, but only after the World Cup this summer.
"When things aren’t going well, people tend to rely on emotions and say, 'well, with Mauricio we played good football' of whatever," Pochettino noted. However, he reaffirmed his commitment to his current role, stating he is strictly focused on leading the United States at the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
"My contract ends after the World Cup , so we’ll see what happens after that.”
Pochettino spent five years in charge at Spurs between 2014 and 2019, winning 160 of his 293 matches at the helm and reports claim fans were calling for him return during the Atletico clash.
