Liverpool ahead of Forest in battle for Celtic prospect Jikieme

Just 15, centre-back Jikieme is attracting major Premier League interest.

The Daily Mail says Nottingham Forest and Liverpool are now firming up plans for the teen.

Liverpool are said to be leading the race to prise Jikieme away from the Hoops academy.

Jikieme turns 16 in January and Liverpool would seek to sign and immediately add the defender to their academy teams for the remainder of the season.
