Sunderland came from behind to win 2-1, with Brian Brobbey grabbing the winner in the second-half.
Le Bris said: “It was another tough game because Crystal Palace are a good side; they are experienced and organised.
“We reacted well to get the equaliser, and the second half was interesting.
“It says a lot about our fighting spirit and our connection with the crowd.
“We have this energy, and we found a solution when we adjusted a few details, which allowed us to be better in the second half.”
He continued: “Brian is getting better game after game; you can feel it.
“His teammates are really comfortable playing through him when he is in the box.
“When he is in the box, he is a massive threat, and he has built some strong understanding with them. Now we are seeing the best version of Brian.
“It is so important to remind ourselves where we were six or seven months ago.
“We are still a new side in this league, and while we are doing well, it is still really fragile.
“The opponents are always strong, the scenarios are always different, and the lads showed great character and maturity today.”
