The 33 year old announced last month that he would leave after a remarkable nine-year spell at Anfield, in which he has scored 257 goals in 435 appearances for the Reds.
The Egyptian king will play his final game against Brentford at Anfield where he will also join up with former teammates Jordan Henderson and Caoimhin Kelleher to say farewell.
Kerkez said that he is going to miss Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah following the Egyptian's departure at the end of the season after the pair became close since he joined the club last summer.
“We are close – me, him (Salah) and Dom (Szoboszlai)," Kerkez said.
"He accepted me really well, like everyone did, but he took me more under the wing and helped me out in many ways. Also hanging out and doing stuff.
“I’m really thankful to him for that. It’s going to be one month more and for sure I’m going to miss him a lot.”
Salah picked up a worrying hamstring issue in the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace last weekend but the club confirmed that he will return before the season ends.
Only Ian Rush (346) and Roger Hunt (285) have scored more goals for Liverpool than Salah who should will expect a huge goodbye from fans an Anfield on the final day of the season.
