Olise has been one of the best-performing players in Europe this season, scoring 20 times and claiming 29 assists in 47 games for the German champions under manager Vincent Kompany.
The Frenchman scored one goal and managed seven successful dribbles against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night in Bayern’s 5-4 defeat.
Two years ago, Olise made a £60M move from Crystal Palace to Germany and has since become one of the best young players on the planet.
Now, as Liverpool seek to replace Mohamed Salah who will leave at the end of the campaign, Pennant took to social media to declare that The Reds should go out all bring in Olise.
"Liverpool go out and get Olise right now, at all costs. There is your replacement for Mo Salah. AT ALL COSTS. Any amount plus (Cody) Gakpo."
Olise remains contracted with Bayern Munich until 2029 and Bayern Munich’s Chief Executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge gave a no nonsense message when asked his future recently.
“This unwritten rule still applies today. For a player like Michael Olise, there’s no price tag that would make us flinch.”
With 13 goals and 18 assists in 29 matches, Olise is an incredible talent, but it seems unlikely that he will depart Bayern even if Liverpool do place a substantial bid this summer.
