Keown told talkSPORT: "When you see the way that he's worked there with young players, that maybe ticks one box.
"Are the players even as good, some of these players at the moment, the way that Bournemouth are performing?
"I mean, he's worked miracles at Bournemouth, he deserves an opportunity.
"And I really like the way that it's a clear message of pressing, the way that they are and the way they play their football.
"They could do a lot worse than bring him to Chelsea."
