Rose is in advanced talks about taking the Bournemouth post as Iraola prepares to leave this summer.
After victory over Newcastle, Iraola was asked about Rose and said: "I cannot speak!
“I think I'm not involved, obviously, because we have confidence, we know things, but no, I cannot speak about it.
“If, when they announce whoever is the manager, I will definitely tell you what I think, but no, I cannot speak right now!”
Asked if Bournemouth are right to target a coach with a similar playing approach, Iraola also said: “In this case, it doesn't matter what I think.
“I think they know very well the team, the players. And I think we are in very good hands. The club is in very good hands.
“If I was a supporter, I would trust 100 per cent the decision makers in this club. And it's not my turn. I'm the one who comes here to speak, but I cannot talk about all these things, I'm sorry.”
