City thrashed Liverpool 4-0 at the Etihad to reach the Cup semifinals.
Haaland told TNT Sports afterwards: "Amazing. In the first half we struggled a bit but we kept going after 30 minutes. Amazing, another Wembley trip for us which is important.
"Between 30 minutes and 60 that is on one of our better performances."
On his hat-trick, he continued: "It's been some time since I have done it for City so it is time I have done it again! It is special so I am super happy.
"It has been too up and down which has not been good enough. For now it is a long week for us because we are not in the Champions League, which is not good enough, but we have to face Chelsea which is another game.
"I have been in an FA Cup final and now we are going to Wembley. This club has to win trophies on the biggest stage."
On his second goal: "I will tell Antoine (Semenyo) to keep putting those crosses in. He is new and it takes a bit of time to settle but his cross was great and (Nico) O'Reilly's cross was outstanding."
