The 2-1 win brought City within three points of the Premier League leaders while they have a game in hand.
“I was quite happy, I have to be honest. It was a great moment for me. A great win,” said Haaland afterwards.
“I think it’s always like this, lots of fighting and these kind of things. What can I say, it’s always nice. “It’s for others to decide if I won the battle or not.
"In that moment of the goal I won it. It was a good cross, and the finish was perfect. I think it was a great goal and a decisive moment and in the end we won.
“Every game is a final. Now when we are done speaking here, it’s starting to prepare for Burnley. That game is as important as this one.
“We need to focus. We need to stay humble, don’t think too much and focus on the next game.”
