Ruud Gullit does not believe that Aurelien Tchouameni will leave Real Madrid following his training ground fight with Federico Valverde this week.

Federico Valverde was admitted to hospital with a head injury after a clash with Real Madrid team-mate Aurelien Tchouameni this week as supporters worry that the Madrid side has become divided.

Spanish media reported on Wednesday that the pair had a row during Wednesday's session and Real Madrid subsequently confirmed that Valverde has suffered cranioencephalic trauma, a type of brain injury which could mean he missed the rest of the campaign.

Valverde since confirmed that his teammate did not hit him and that a row did occur which is normal in football.

Since the event occured, reports have linked Tchouameni with a move away to Manchester United this summer in what would be an easy escape route that Gullit thinks will not happen.

“(The fight) That’s normal. Come on. In my day, every week there was always something going on,’ Gullit told Metro via MrRaffle.com.

“I don’t care about that – that’s a normal thing and it has to happen. You need to get rid of your frustration. In a team, you don’t need to like each other. You can dislike someone, but you have to respect them because they’re an important asset to the team. But conflict will always come. It must. Football can’t exist without conflict.”

“Look, Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world. Nobody refuses Real Madrid. Nobody”

“You don’t say, ‘No, thanks.’ So to leave Real Madrid, there’s only one reason – if they tell you we’re signing someone else and you’re going in a different direction. But you don’t leave just because you want to go somewhere else. It doesn’t happen.”

Madrid stated that “internal procedures” have started on both players following the incident that could spark even more transfer rumours heading into the summer as the club look more and more divided.
