Gudmundsson told the clubs website: “I am super proud. We had a tough game against West Ham in the FA Cup where we got to the semi-finals and then come to Old Trafford, it was a really difficult game, but we showed so much character today.
“We showed up and we showed our quality. We don't back down. We came here to try to win points.
"I am super proud of the boys that we fought through the whole game.
“We have a big game coming up so we need to stay focused for the next game. We came here today with a lot of confidence and character. We showed that today, so we definitely deserved the three points."
