Grealish would have to take a serious pay cut on his £300,000-a-week deal at City for any deal to go ahead this summer after being told that he is surplus to requirements by manager Pep Guardiola who has no use for him in the new campaign.

Grealish had been working with his personal trainer to ensure he is in the best condition for any club who may be interested in snapping up the England international who has been on a steep decline in recent years.
What is clear is that the next six weeks will be crucial for Grealish and the clock is ticking for the winger who may have to leave the club on loan rather than a permanent deal due to his high wages that not many clubs can afford.
