Galatasaray ask Man City for one more senior player during Ederson talks

With talks at an advanced stage for City goalkeeper Ederson, Gala have also asked the Sky Blues about Switzerland defender Manuel Akanji.

Gala have already held a round of talks with Akanji's representatives, says talkSPORT, with the player not shutting the door on the prospect of a move.

Akanji was left on the bench for Saturday's Premier League opening day win at Wolves.

And with manager Pep Guardiola enjoying a deep selection in terms of centre-halves, it's suggested City could be willing to sell for the right price.
