Villa were held to frustrating point at Turf Moor after lacklustre display against Burnley over the weekend, hurting the club’s chances at securing Champions League football for next season.
Emery’s side are focused on securing European football but also the Europa League final later this month which, if won, would hand them Champions League football.
The club face Liverpool this Friday, a side also chasing down a spot amongst Europe’s elite before they come up against Freiburg in the final, a game reports state they will be concentrating on far more.
Villa can secure a top-five Premier League finish and Champions League qualification by beating Liverpool on Friday night and Emery has asked for his time for one final push to finish the season with a flourish.
“It is the moment to enjoy, the moment to do the last effort for everybody,” he said.
“To try and get this way, each day, each session and match, trying to be excited and motivated like we are.
“It will be very difficult for us, very difficult for Liverpool, very difficult for Bournemouth and very difficult for Brighton (to reach the Champions League spots).
“The team which achieves it is going to deserve it. Of course, hopefully, we will do it.”
No manager has won this competition more than Emery and after picking apart Nottingham Forest, Villa are the favourites to go all the way this season as they end their European drought.
