DONE DEAL: Coventry confirm Jahnoah Markelo exit just six months after joining

Frank Lampard’s side signed the 23-year-old from FC Zurich on a four-and-a-half-year deal in January for a reported £4.4 million.

Markelo failed to make much on an impression, however, playing just 51 minutes across his five games as Coventry won the Championship title.

Coventry have now confirmed that he has left the club on a permanent basis, joining Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai.
