Ismaila Sarr admitted Crystal Palace expected a difficult encounter against Everton after their entertaining 2-2 draw on Sunday afternoon.

James Tarkowski gave the visitors a seventh minute lead at Selhurst Park before the Senegal international restored parity in the 34 minutes.

Two minutes after the half time break, Beto gave David Moyes’ men the lead with a cool finish but a late strike from Jean-Philippe Mateta ensured point was shared in London.

“We knew before the game that it would be a tough game. The team was ready,” Sarr said after the match.

“I am happy to score in every game. This team is very good, it is my family. I am giving 100 per cent to the team.”
