Manchester United target Crysencio Summerville has reportedly had his price reduced this week.

The West Ham winger missed much of the 2024-25 season with a hamstring injury and missed a chunk of last season with a calf problem but returned with a bang this summer.

Summerville scored one goal and provided two assists for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup as he became a standout player for his nation who have since crashed out the competition.

The 24-year-old, who is under contract at the London Stadium until the summer of 2029 has become a target for Fulham, Tottenham and the Red Devils over the past month as they monitor his situation.

As transfer speculation increases, Teamtalk report that the winger’s original £70M release clause has been dropped to £40M as the Championship side reportedly seek to be handed the fee in cash rather than in instalments.

Standard Sport also report that Summerville is fully focused on his future after the Netherlands were knocked out the World Cup. He is keen on a move away from West Ham and seeks a return to the Premier League where he certainly has the quality to succeed.

United will have to be quick to snap up Summerville as Tottenham have been ruthless in the transfer market so far. Spurs are not afraid to splash the cash and may place a bid for the Dutchman in the coming weeks.
