Ahead of tonight's clash with Manchester United, Lavia admits Chelsea's players want to repay the support of their fans.
Chelsea sit in sixth place and Lavia told tonight's match programme: "We want to give the fans what they want and what they come to support us for.
"So the mindset is to set things right and get back to winning ways, because that’s the most important thing at the moment.
"Also, we are still in there. I think the worst thing now would be to think that it’s over, because there are six games, it’s six finals, so we need to give everything."
On his return after a long-term injury absence, Lavia also said: "It’s very good to be back with the boys, with my team-mates, and also to be back playing at Stamford Bridge.
"That’s always an incredible feeling. Just to be able to keep gaining these minutes and building some consistency, that’s the most important thing."
