The West London club are accused of making under the table payments to agents between the years of 2009 and 2022, while Roman Abramovich owned the club.
The allegations relate to some of the club’s biggest transfer dealings, including the signings of Eden Hazard, Samuel Eto’o, and Willian.
Chelsea responded to the allegations by confirming that they had ‘self-reported’ after becoming aware of the situation during the Clearlake Capital takeover in 2022.
According to The Times, Chelsea are now bracing themselves for the outcome after the hearing concluded.
It’s understood that the most likely outcome is a fine, although the report adds that a transfer ban or points deduction are also on the table.
