Abraham has bounced around several clubs since then, and now finds himself in Turkey with Besiktas, on loan from Roma.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Villa are now keen on bringing Abraham back to the club as they seek to sign a new striker.
It’s understood that talks between the club and the player’s representatives have already started.
