Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta believes that his side have a strong chance at silverware this season as they fight for every competition.

Arsenal claimed a 3-2 win against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, beat Portsmouth 4-1 in the FA Cup, remain top of the Champions League table and the Premier League in what has been an incredible season so far.

The clash against Chelsea was Arsenal's 32nd of the season, and they have only lost twice, both away from home to Liverpool and Aston Villa in the Premier League.

The Gunners are in prime position to lift a trophy this season and are likely to go all the way in at least one competition. Speaking in his latest press conference, Arteta believes that as confidence is high as they chase down a much-needed trophy.

"We are building very good momentum. And the belief comes from performances and the level of consistency we have shown already this season. What we did at Stamford Bridge should help us to be very convinced that we have the ability.

"But the reality is that you have to show it in every game. We are very happy that we are still alive in all four competitions."

Arsenal have not lifted a trophy since their FA Cup triumph in 2020 and there is a feeling amongst the squad that after so much investment, Arteta must win at least one trophy or face being let go in the summer.
