The 19-year-old had a fantastic start to life at Marseille, scoring on his debut in their 3-1 win over title chasing Lens in January.
Roberto De Zerbi left the club shortly after, however, and was replaced by Beye, who has struggled to make much of an impact.
Beye recently called the Arsenal loanee out in a press conference, saying: “he has to give way more in his day-to-day commitment.”
According to L’Equipe, the relationship between Nwaneri and Beye has deteriorated further, with the Arsenal loanee falling further down the pecking order.
Nwaneri is expected to leave Arsenal on a permanent basis this summer with the North London club in need of selling academy start to help with PSR.
