Arsenal are reportedly 'confident' key defender Jurrien Timber will put pen to paper on a new deal at the club.

After a devasting ACL injury back in 2023, Timber, 24, has established himself as a key player for Mikel Arteta’s title chasing side.

The Dutchman is widely considered one of the best right-backs in the Premier League, and Arsenal are keen on rewarding his fine form.

According to the Sun, Arsenal have already opened talks with Timber and are ‘confident’ they’ll be able to get a deal done quickly.

His current deal is set to expire in 2028, with sporting director Andrea Berta also in talks to extend Bukayo Saka’s stay too.
