Fulham defender Joachim Andersen admits Craven Cottage is a good place to be after back-to-back wins.

Fulham sit in eighth place on the Premier League table and go to Aston Villa this weekend.

"There’s a nice energy here,” Andersen told the club's website. “We’re really happy with the two wins – it was two home games, two must-win games for us to be honest, so it was nice to get them over the line.

“Something that we maybe struggled with a little bit last season, winning those games where we really had to win, so it was nice to get that done and hopefully we can continue with that.”

He added, "Aston Villa is always difficult, we know their quality. We know they didn’t have the best start and maybe they’re feeling the pressure a little bit, so we need to take advantage of that.

“We need to get at them and show that we can beat them, because I’m 100 per cent sure that if we play our best we can get those three points.

“There’s always two ways of looking at it. They may be struggling a little bit with confidence, but I’m sure they’re also really, really eager to show that they need to put this bad start behind them."
