The 46-year-old joins after a successful spell at Remo Stars, where he guided the club to its maiden NPFL title in the 2024/25 campaign.
Renowned for his attacking philosophy and disciplined approach, Ogunmodede transformed Remo Stars into consistent title challengers and regular CAF interclub participants before stepping down last season.
He also serves as an assistant coach to Éric Chelle with the Nigeria national football team and now begins a new chapter with Kano Pillars.
