The 26-year-old returns to familiar surroundings after spending time abroad with Ethiopian Premier League outfit Fasil Kenema Sport Club and Tanzanian side Singida Black Stars.
Bendel Insurance confirmed the goalkeeper’s return on their official X account on Monday.
“It has been an honour to wear this badge and represent this great team. The memories, challenges, victories, and friendships I gained here will always remain special to me,” Obasogie said.
“Though my journey with the club is coming to an end, Singida Black Stars will always have a special place in my heart.
“I wish the club nothing but success and greater achievements in the future. Thank you, Singida Black Stars. Once a star, always a star.”
Obasogie left the club in 2024 and said his time away had helped him develop professionally and personally.
The Nigerian international will now begin another chapter with the two-time Nigerian champions, bringing valuable experience from his spells across Africa.
