The Inter Miami superstar reached the milestone during Saturday’s 4-2 victory over Toronto FC, contributing one goal and two assists.
Messi achieved the feat in just 64 league appearances, comfortably surpassing the previous record of 95 matches set by former Toronto star Sebastian Giovinco.
Since arriving in MLS in July 2023, the former Barcelona and PSG star has registered 59 goals and 41 assists.
The Argentine icon has already guided Miami to MLS Cup, the Leagues Cup and the Supporters’ Shield, while also winning back-to-back MLS MVP awards in 2024 and 2025.
Earlier this year, he scored his 900th career goal and became the fastest player in MLS history to record 20 goals and 20 assists, achieving the landmark in only 26 games.
