The 24-year-old has two goals from his two World Cup games for Mauricio Pochettino’s side as they’ve progressed to the knockouts at a canter.
According to The Athletic, Balogun is now expected to leave Ligue 1 side Monaco, where he has scored 31 goals in 91 appearances across all competitions so far.
Balogun came through Arsenal’s Hale End academy before leaving permanently in 2023 due to a lack of game time.
The striker is under contract at Monaco until 2028 and it will take an offer of around €50 million for the club to consider a sale.
It’s understood that there are several Premier League sides interested in bringing the impressive striker back to England, though there is nothing concrete just yet.
