The deal marks a return to French football for the former Olympique de Marseille player, who has joined Les Sang et Or on a four-year contract running until 2030 for a reported €5m fee.
Lens, who will compete in the UEFA Champions League group stage next season after finishing second in Ligue 1, see Cuisance as a key addition to strengthen their midfield options.
Still under contract with Hertha until 2029, the Frenchman departs Germany to take on a new challenge in Ligue 1.
He is expected to replace Adrien Thomasson, who left the club following the expiry of his deal. Cuisance will wear the No. 27 shirt as he begins a new chapter in his career in northern France.
