Former France coach Raymond Domenech took aim at Endrick after Lyon's defeat to Strasbourg on Sunday.

Strasbourg ended Lyon's 13-match winning streak with their Ligue 1 triumph.

Domenech admits he was left unimpressed by Lyon's on-loan Real Madrid striker Endrick, who was named Ligue 1 Player of the Month last week.

He stated: "Lyon disappointed me a bit, but especially Endrick. In their style of play, it's crucial that all the forwards genuinely contribute defensively, offering solutions and depth.

"Instead, they have a player who doesn't defend at all. It was evident in the second goal: he stood five meters away from the action, watching. He offers no space; when he receives the ball, he runs and loses it. Or he receives it at his feet, stops, and tries a long ball with his left foot.

"The fact that he stayed on the pitch the entire match is disappointing. He should have been substituted: he contributed nothing and offered no solutions."
