Guler was forced off before the hour mark in the win against Alaves.
Real reported last night: "Following tests carried out today on our player Arda Güler by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the biceps femoris of his right leg.
"His recovery will be monitored."
Real Madrid sources say medical staff do not expect Guler to play again this season. In terms of the World Cup, more will be known over the coming days.
